At LJ Hooker Cessnock, we’re known as trusted real estate agents but our mission goes beyond property. Supporting our community is embedded in our culture, and this week, that meant rolling up our sleeves for those doing it tough in Taree.
What started as a simple idea, collecting bottles and cans, quickly has become something bigger with our team, Our team rallied together, collecting every eligible container we could find over the past month, with each 10cent refund saved and used to purchase essential items, non perishable food, uht milk and more.
As devastating floods continue to impact lives in the region, our team has rallied together to collect essential items for survivors. The team here at LJ Hooker packed dozens of bags filled with necessities and care. Mel and Bryce from our team will be personally delivering these to Survivors R US, who organised this appeal offering not just supplies, but hope and connection and to let them know, they have not been forgotten.
Helping victims in the Taree area reminded us all that kindness is contagious and that small consistent efforts can create a big impact.
