After the devastating floods of 2022 throughout the Northern Rivers of NSW. The Backpack Venture put a call out for the community to help collect school supplies for flood affected school families in the Greater Lismore area.
The team at LJ Hooker Cessnock took up the call for help. Lending their Central Cessnock location as a drop off point for donations; as well as rallying support from the Cessnock community for this worthy cause.
Having recently assisted the Backpack Venture with their back to school drive in January 2022.
Mellissa and Bryce of LJ Hooker Cessnock didn’t think twice about helping again after seeing the utter devastation.
“The Local community groups, businesses and individuals of the Greater Cessnock area have overwhelmed the us with their generous support.” Said Mellissa.
With over 111 bags donated, it’s a mighty achievement in such a short time. Thank you to everyone who got involved big and small.
